We believe in transparency and fairness. This policy makes sure you know exactly what to expect when booking with MentorGuia.
How to Cancel an Appointment
All appointment cancellations must be initiated through your dashboard. Each scheduled appointment displays a "Join" and a "Cancel" button. Select "Cancel" to immediately cancel the session. Both you and your mentor receive automatic notifications.
Refund Schedule
If Your Mentor Cancels
100% Full Refund. If a mentor cancels an appointment for any reason, you receive a complete refund. Mentors use the dashboard cancellation feature (or contact support) to make sure you are notified immediately.
If You Need to Cancel
We understand plans change. Your refund amount depends on when you cancel:

| More than 24 hours before | 95% refund | 90% refund |
| 12-24 hours before | 60% refund | 60% refund |
| Less than 12 hours before | 30% refund | 30% refund |
No-Show Policy
- Mentor no-show: You receive a full refund (100%).
- Your no-show: No refund is issued.
Important Notes
- Once an appointment begins, it cannot be cancelled and no refunds are issued.
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
- All refunds are sent to the original payment method.
Why These Policies?
Our cancellation policy balances flexibility for clients with fairness for mentors who reserve time for you. The small retention on refunds covers payment processing fees and platform operations.
